Your adventure. Your life.
CLIMBING & CLIMBING ROUTES
Ardent fans have long known it: Some of the most beautiful climbing areas of the Alps can be found in South Tyrol. The pinnacle of these can be certainly found in the Dolomites, just an hour’s drive away from the Hotel FAYN. But there are also several climbing parks and high rope courses for fun and adrenaline at lofty heights. The bouldering area in Algund, the climbing parks of "Bergkristall" in Pfelders, "Wintertraum" in Naturns or Fragsburg high above Merano also come highly recommended.
EQUESTRIAN SPORTS
Are you only truly happy when in the presence of horses? Then you have landed on your feet in the Merano Region. A 40 ha racecourse with exciting competitions and vibrant racetrack flair awaits you in nearby Merano. For those who prefer to jump up on a saddle themselves can find several riding stables around the Hotel FAYN with a wide range on offer for the whole family.
THERME MERAN THERMAL BATHS
There is nothing more stimulating for the body and soul than a day on the water. The "Therme Meran" is the flagship in Algund and the surroundings when it comes to swimming and wellness. The modern and aesthetically impressive thermal baths in the centre of Merano are an oasis for the senses. And well worth a visit.
CANYONING/RAFTING
Feel the power of nature up close. Demonstrate courage. Show skill and team spirit. And expand your own limits in doing so. Conquer the wild waters of South Tyrol while rafting, canyoning or kayaking. And all of this amidst a breathtaking alpine backdrop.
PARAGLADING
Be free like a bird. Leave the rest of the world behind you. And just fly away. Fly and dream. And also sense that bit of a buzz. The Merano region offers the perfect scenery and skies for lovers of weightless gliding with the Texel Group and the Dolomites in the background.
The appropriate flight license is required for hand gliding or paragliding. Those who have one in their possession can rent all the equipment on-site. Courageous amateurs, however, can head safely into the valley accompanied by an experienced tandem pilot. You start from the Vigiljoch or the Mut above Dorf Tirol.
